A couple quick questions.
When configuring /etc/printcap, the daemon can still be running, correct? We have noticed some issues with updating the printcap when connecting a new printer through usb.
Secondly, if a spooler is spawned when connected a printer is connected, if the daemon is slain, will that also clean up any active spoolers? |

| Basically it appears that since we support local printing through the spooler utility and lpd/lpr printing for remote printing, one of the schemes is clobbering the other. I am trying to figure out what the proper order of configuration is for dynamic attaching/detaching of printers in terms of lpd. |
