Post subject: AMD Geode LX 800 Driver Installation  PostPosted: Apr 28, 2008 - 05:54 PM

I have installed QNX 6.3.2 Neutrino Host. I found that there exits a graphics driver patch for my Geode LX 800 video card:
http://www.qnx.com/download/feature.html?programid=16997

Current io-graphics is using devg-vesabios driver. From the above patch I have the files:
devg-lx800.so
geode.conf

Where should I place these files so that my io-graphics uses this new driver?

I tried following the Installation notes but looks like they are out of sync.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,
The Installation Note seems to be all right.
Please also check description of io-graphics option -ddriver [driver_options]
(load the specified driver and pass it the optional driver_options. The driver is a shared object named devg-driver.so . For example, -d lx800 loads devg-lx800.so)

Thanks,
Yuriy
