Post subject: samba + QNX6 (need help!)  PostPosted: Jun 11, 2004 - 08:25 AM

Got my Virtual PC / QNX networking okay, the machines ping etc.

Next hurdle: Samba.

Target: Reaching my SMB host (OS X) from QNX box, in order to compile
stuff.

Status: Samba installed, but gives the following complaints:

SMBfsys &
--> SMBfsys: not found

Isn't it needed/used under QNX6 any more?

smbclient //192.168.1.2/asko -U asko
-->
added interface ip=192.168.131.77 bcast=192.168.131.255
nmask=255.255.255.0
Password:
Anonymous login succesful
Domain=[WORKGROUP] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.2]
tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED

It never lets me actually type in the password.. Weird. Might be
therefore access is denied. What can I do??
