Is it possible to install QNX on an external hard drive?

I have an external 2.5" hard drive connected to my USB port. I would like
to install QNX on this drive and only have it boot when to QNX when the
external hard drive is connected to my system.

Is this possible? How can this be accommomished? Difficult?
