I have a 19 inch Elographics monitor with an E271-2210 serial controller. In
the QNX 4 manual , it says that
this touchscreen protocol is supported. But, I can't get it to work.

I tried the following command and it didn't seem to work.

Input -t10 intellitch -b9600 fd -d /dev/ser2 abs -f /etc/config/absf/absf.1
&

I appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks
Shashank

I partially got this thing to work now, but not as I would like it to. When
I touch a particular point say (100,200) on the screen, the mouse
pointer moves to a totally different location like maybe (400,600) . Since
it is a 19 inch monitor , the ideal resoluation that I should be using
is (1280*1024) 16bit color resolution. However, there aren't graphic
drivers available for this mode. So I am using 1024*768 16 bit color.
Could that be the problem?

If someone has an answer , I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
Shashank

As I recall, in the absf.1 file, the line for the resolution you are using
ends with a '0' or a '1'. Changing from one to the other swaps x coords with
y coords. It's been a long time since I messed with this stuff, but it's
worth a try.

Did you run the calibration program 'calib'?
