hello,
can someone please tell me where i can get detailed informations about the
Qnet-protocol. I could just find a brief description of functioning in the
QNX documentation.

I don't know if QNX gives out this information, and I suspect not. You should probably contact them directly to find out.

QNET is a proprietary protocol used between QNX nodes. Applications end up using it transparently when they open and access resources across the network. You also make use of it when you create message passing connections across the network. The only obvious reason for need to know details of the protocol would be to allow communications over QNET to a non-QNX system. For this type of communication, TCP/IP is probably a better choice.
