Does any one know if it is possible to use QNX and develop applications to run on Altera's NIOS-II soft core on any Altera FPGA? I currently use UCOS-II with Eclipse IDE, it has some limitations (such as no mmu...), so I thought it would be very cool if it is possible to use Momentics to develop QNX applications that download into an Altera FPGA configured with QuartusII, etc. Has anyone done it?

If there is no MMU then you are out of luck.

Of course, I don't know what I was thinking... what about Altera's Excalibur and ARM922T (this one does have an mmu), has anyone tried it? I am interested in general in QNX running on soft cores (mainly Altera or Xilinx), if anyone has any experience, recommendations, etc it will all be very much appreciated!

QNX supports Xilinx Virtex4 FPGA with PPC in it!
