Hi all!
I've got a new laptop Acer TravelMate 5620 with Texas Instruments
PCIxx12 CardBus Controller (as Windows said).
When I insert Sundisk memory card
pcmciatrap gives
Pcmcia.generic -a3e0 (as always)
then
pin gives
Sock Win Type Flags PID Base Size IRQ Base
Size DMA
Try the lastest pccard stuff instead of Pcmcia.generic which is older.

I've tried pccard. Read the second part of the message.
But pc-pin gives strings about (i think) all of hardware on my laptop - video, audio, disks... Something wrong.
Pcmcia.generic works wrong only with memory cards. And ethernet pcmcia card is detected well:
pin gives
Sock Win Type Flags PID Base Size IRQ Base Size DMA
1 0 Net C---M----------W None 320 7
All of my memory cards was correctly detected by my last laptop Toshiba Satelite as ATA cards:
pin gave
Sock Win Type Flags PID Base Size IRQ Base Size DMA
1 0 ATA C---M----------W None 320 7
