A security bug in QNX6.1 has been reported on BugTraq. The source code has been posted to create a local denial of service using the weakness in the timer implementation. It is not yet confirmed whether the bug exists in the latest release of QNX 6.2.
I compiled and excuted the code on 6.2A and the computer locked up. I was running as a non-root account.
