D-Link DUB-E100 on Lite5200B board

Postby Moonbouncer » Fri Apr 06, 2007 8:48 am

I'm trying to make a 'D-Link DUB-E100' USB to Ethernet adapter work on a
Lite5200B board.

io-net and the devn-asix.so driver is loaded with the following commands:

io-net -v -dmpc5200 mac=00049f005b0e -dasix verbose -ptcpip

waitfor /dev/io-net/en0 4

waitfor /dev/io-net/en1 4

waitfor /dev/socket 4

ipconfig en0 10.0.0.10/24

ipconfig en1 10.0.1.10/24

The build-in Ethernet device 'en0' works fine and is visible under
/dev/io-net/en0

But the USB Ethernet device 'en1' fails when setting the IP address and it
is not visible under /dev/io-net

Any ideas what the problem may be?

The 'usb' command gives the following information:

USB 0 (MGT5200) v1.10, v1.01 DDK, v1.01 HCD

Device Address : 1
Vendor : 0x2001 (D-Link Corporation)
Product : 0x3c05 (DUB-E100)
Class : 0xff (Vendor-specific)
Subclass : 0xff
Protocol : 0x00
