uud

Decode a file that was encoded with uue

Syntax:

uud [-n] [-d] [-s dir] [-t dir] input-file

Options:

-n
Don't check the line sequence.
-d
Use debug (verbose) mode.
-s dir
The source directory for all input files. You must end the name of the directory with a directory separator (i.e. a slash).
-t dir
The target directory for all output files. You must end the name of the directory with a directory separator (i.e. a slash).
input-file
The name of the file to decode. If input-file is -, read from standard input.

Description:

The uud utility decodes a file that was encoded using uue.

If the filename is in the form input-file.uaa (i.e. you used the -n to uue to break a file into chunks), uud automatically includes the subsequent pieces.
