how to install a minimal system

Post by David Ng » Wed Jul 02, 2003 12:24 pm

I'd like to know how i could install just the QNX OS without photon or the
creation of a swap file and everything like that? I can't seem to find any
devb files on the CD to play around with and I'm running out of ideas.

All I'd like is a command prompt and some I/O interface support.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave:
Very good book for start is here:
http://www.qnx.com/developer/docs/momen ... about.html

Basicly, you need QNX SE or PE and good understanding of fdisk, dinit, mkifs and, might be, some
others utilities.

All documentation can be found at:
http://www.qnx.com/developer/docs/momen ... index.html
