Debugging 101

Post by roger » Wed Aug 27, 2003 10:18 pm

Finally, I found some sample codes and I could compile it successfully, but
when I tried to Run it or Debug it, I got an error msg saying "Launch
Failed: Error starting process: Exec error: Launching failed" (BTW, I'm
using the QNX Momentics.)

Any suggestions?

Assuming 6.2.1B, Windows hosted. In your launch configuration,
click on the "Upload" tab, and try un-setting the "Strip debug...."
option. On your target, make sure you have a "/tmp" directory.
If you don't, either create one, or modify the "Upload directory"
to point to some directory that actually exists.
