Cirrus Logic GC5429 video driver??

Post by Benjamin Rogers » Thu Sep 28, 2000 6:09 am

I was wondering if there was any work being done or if anyone had looked at
porting/rewriting the cirrus video drivers.

There were working drivers for Photon 1.14..

Any ideas when we might be able to see them... It's kinder ugly/impossible
to use Photon in 8bit colour at 800x600!!

Cheers Ben.

We have not yet made any attempt to support Cirrus Logic cards under RTP.

You are lucky I have a clgd5446 and I have not managed
anything better than 640x480 in 16 colours.

It worked better than that with the QNX demodisk so I
wondered if Hydra.ms and a flat mode driver were available.

We're working on a Super VGA driver right now, which should give
you all the modes you got on the demo disk.
