Bootdisk

Is there a way for bootdisk to read a config file instead of scanning for
devices every bootup? What is the point of bootdisk taking 17 seconds to
scan for the same devices each time you start QNX RTP. It would be nice for
QNX RTP to boot up 2 times faster :)

I use the bootloader (dualboot with windows) and it also scans for devices
everytime, so it doesn't boot fast at all.
Is there a way too speed things up a bit for me too?
