execution problem

Post by Aleksandar » Wed Jan 08, 2003 8:25 am

I have installed gnu c/c++ compiler

qcc -V results in:

cc: targets available in /etc/qcc:
gcc-ntox86 (GNU C, default)
gcc-ntox86-gpp (GNU C)

After successful compilation and linking a.out file is created. Executing
a.out results in:

/bin/sh: a.out: not found
eventhough i'm positioned in the current directory. Does this dir. have to
be in a PATH? Am I missing something?
Thx.

Yes, a.out must be found within the PATH, or you can execute it in the
following manner:

../a.out
