I am working on writing a driver for a USB GPRS modem.
I believe the way of doing so is to write a driver using the USB and char
DDK to emulate a serial port. After which, I should be able to communicate
with the device using standard applications like qtalk, etc.
Has anyone done anything like this before? Is this the correct approach?
I understand that there is planned support for USB2.0 with a full range of
USB device drivers like mass storage, etc. Is usb-serial going to be
bridged with qdn.public.ddk.usb
