Hello! I installed QNX 6.2 (Momentics professional edition) not
long ago, and I have been trying to navigate through the source
tree. The documentation indicates that there should be point
where the descending tree splits in three branches: ipl, startup, and
one other. I have been trying to find this "branchpoint" for
x86. I have found what appears to be the source file set for
the starup code, but I do not the the IPL nor the other branch. This
leads me to wonder if I REALLY have the entire BSP source set for
x86 loaded. How can I tell? Does anyone know why the source tree
does have a structure matching that described in the documentation
(as Neutrinno 1 did)? Also, can anyone tell me where to find the
source for the loader whihc dinit loads onto the QNX partition?
Thanks!
Rich B.

Re: BSP whereabouts?
Dear Laveau:
Oops! It looks like they are not ready to ship this now,
even via the sales rep.
I am also told that the IPL really does nothing more than
load the OS image in this case -- no extensive checking. Perhaps
the fellow who suggested I examine the IPL was either thinking
of the MBR loader, or the startup code (not IPL)?
