QNX6 installation could not find Compact Flash

Post by RPan » Mon May 01, 2006 3:36 pm

Our system is PC/104+ based. It has one compact flash and one IDE.
I boot the QNX Neutrino from CD and Select F3 (Install QNX to a new disk
partition).

After I enter the license key, the installation could not find any disk in
the system. I have no disk to select for OS installation. How come? CF is
there and If I run from CD(F2 selection), /dev/hd0 shows up.

Any ideas?

Hi,
I had the same problem. Fortunatelly I found a solution. You have to disable
DMA. There is a messsage "press spacebar to ........ or press D to disable
DMA" (or something like that) before entering the license key. Just press D.
In my case it helped and my CF card was in the list.
